Rise’s networking and infrastructure tools ensure that your hosted services integrate seamlessly with each other and your on-premise systems. They include:

Virtual Private Network (VPN)

You can connect to your Rise services securely through an IPsec encrypted (256-bit) VPN. This will allow you to incorporate cloud-computing services into your local IT network.

Virtual Local Area Networks (VLAN)

You can create a network of virtual servers in a private LAN. This provides a secure way to map multiple servers together and use:

  • A range of private internal IP addresses
  • The same broadcast Active Directory
  • A VPN connection to network multiple hosted servers to an on-premise network

Firewall

Rise DataCenter on Demand protects your servers with high quality Cisco ASA 5550 hardware. It provides a firewall that works in conjunction with a VPN and/or VLAN.

Advanced Server Monitoring (ASM)

You’ll get a comprehensive view of your business’s hosted hardware and applications with ASM, which is an option on all Rise servers. ASM also alerts you when your services are close to capacity. It gives you greater control and visibility of your hosted services.
